Design Terms

Payments
 A Design of Faith accepts payments through Paypal only. By paying the Paypal invoice(s) that you receive from A Design of Faith, you agree to these terms of design. All clients must pay a non-refundable $25 deposit in order to be placed on the wait list. This $25 will be applied to the total cost of the design. The balance will be due when the design is approved, prior to installation. Clients will only be added to the wait list after the deposit has been received.

Refunds
All payments are non-refundable.

Communication
All communication with the designer is done via email.

Permissions
A Design of Faith is not liable for any photos or design elements provided by clients. Please be sure to have permission to use any elements or photography that you would like A Design of Faith to use in your design.

Cancellations
In the event that you cancel your order, A Design of Faith does not issue refunds. You will lose your deposit and/or full payment. 

 Proofing
Custom designs are created based the information you provide in your design questionnaire.  Please be as specific as possible on your questionnaire. You will be sent a design proof of your blog header and background, which will need to be approved before all other blog elements are created.  Once your proof is reviewed, feel free to offer feedback on design elements that you would like to see edited and then you will be sent a revision. 


Proof Revisions
A Design of Faith will provide up to three revisions during the design process.  After three rounds of revisions additional fees may apply. It is very important that you are specific about what type of look you would like in your design questionnaire...this will save you from being charged additional revision fees. Additional revisions are billed at $20/hr.

Blog Design Updates
Once your new design is installed and your have approved the final look, I delete all of your files, which means that pictures, wording or elements in your header/blog design cannot be changed. If you feel that you might like to update your pictures or wording in the future then you may pay to have your files stored for $10, which must be paid at the same time as your remaining balance invoice. When you are ready to update your design, an update fee will be required payable through Paypal. Blog updates start at $5 depending upon the update.


Design Credits
Once your design is installed, a Design of Faith logo as well as proper design credit for any elements used will be added to the bottom of your sidebar. As long as your blog design is one created by A Design of Faith, you agree to keep this credit in your sidebar.

Frequently Asked Questions


Do you only work on Blogger blogs?
Yes, at this time I only work with Blogger blogs.

How long does the design process take?
It depends, but typically your design will be completed in 7-10 days. Please make sure to check your email often during the design process, as that will help keep things flowing smoothly.

How will I know if I like the blog you designed for me before you upload it to my site?
While I am designing your blog, I upload your design to my Blogger testing site. You will be able to see exactly what your blog will look like- with the exception of your own posts, links, and profile. I will then send you a link where you can preview your new design.

How will I pay you?
Once we've decided to work together and you have picked out your kit, I will send you an invoice through PayPal for half of the design fee and the cost of the digital kit. After you have viewed and approved your design, I will send you an invoice through PayPal for the remaining amount. Once the final payment has been made I will then upload your design to your blog!

What is a digital kit and why do I need one?
I use digital scrapbook kits created by different designers to come up the the design for your blog. A kit consists of background papers and different elements such as frames, ribbons, buttons, bows, etc. When you find a kit you love, then I will send you a design questionnaire to fill out and let me know what you love about that kit and the things you don't particularly care for. The cost of the digital kit and any permission fees from that designer will be added to the total of your blog design. Check the approved designers page for more info on where to find a kit.

Will I get a copy of the digital kit?
According to the designers' Terms of Use, each kit can only be used once, so I will not be able to share the files.

Will I be able to change the photos in my design?
Once your design is installed your files are deleted, which means I would not be able to change your pictures. However, for $10, I can store your files so that your pictures can be updated for a small fee. Please be sure to notify me when you place your order that you would like your files stored.

The Process

You're ready for a blog makeover, so what's next?

- Set up a free Blogger account if you do not already have one. I will need your login and password.
- Choose a digital scrapbooking kit/graphics that you love. Click here for a list of approved designers.
- Choose your design package.
- Email me to let me know that you are ready.
- I will then send you a design questionnaire which you will need to fill out and email back to me.

I will send you a draft of your blog and if you want something changed, just let me know! I will send you an invoice through PayPal and once payment has been made, I will upload your blog onto your site. It's that easy!

Approved Designers

I use digital scrapbooking kits to come up with my designs. The kits typically consist of background papers, ribbons, frames, buttons, etc. Each digital designer will have their own terms of use and below you will find designers who have given me their permission to use their designs.

Browse through the designers shop and pick out a kit that reflects the look you are envisioning for your blog. Email me the designer and kit name, as well as the additional information I need to know from you and we can get started on your makeover!
